Tisková konference Národní koalice pro boj se suchem 7.5.2019
Dne 7.5.2019 proběhla tisková konference Národní koalice pro boj se suchem, kde Ministr zemědělství Ing. Miroslav Toman, CSc. explicitně zmiňuje agrolesnické systémy jako jeden z nástrojů boje proti klimatické změně – Česká televize , kanál ČT24, program Studio 6, čas 51:00:

„…Také spolupracujeme s odborníky z České zemědělské univerzity a z Akademie věd, tam připravujeme nový dotační program – titul: „Agroforestry“, který přispívá ke zlepšení struktury krajiny, k ochraně půdy a v boji s klimatickou změnou. Tento program kombinuje zemědělské hospodaření na zemědělské půdě s cílovým pěstováním lesních a ovocných dřevin.
Zároveň ve spolupráci s MŽP a s Ministerstvem financí dokončujeme snížení zdanění (kategorie) „ostatních ploch“, které souvisí se zemědělskou činností. Tzn.: jsou to ostatní plochy, na kterých jsou tzv. remízky, když to řeknu zjednodušeně – stromy, aby se tam nemusela platit sedminásobně vyšší daň než na zemědělské půdě, tak, abychom umožnili zemědělcům a všem, aby tyto remízky mohli zakládat a nemuseli na to doplácet.“
Musíme trochu upřesnit slova pana ministra v tom smyslu, že na přípravě zmiňovaného dotačního titulu se nepodílí pouze Česká zemědělská univerzita, ale také (a to významnou měrou) odborníci z dalších institutcí: Výzkumného ústavu Silva Taroucy pro krajinu a okrasné zahradnictví, v.v.i. a také Mendelovy univerzity.

On 7.5.2019 a press conference of the National Coalition for Combating Drought took place, where the Minister of Agriculture Ing. Miroslav Toman, CSc. explicitly mentions agroforestry systems as one of the tools to combat climate change – Czech TV, channel CT24, program Studio 6, time 51:00:

„…We also cooperate with experts from the Czech University of Life Sciences and the Academy of Sciences, where we prepare a new grant program – the title: „Agroforestry“, which contributes to the improvement of landscape structure, to soil protection and to combat climate change.This program combines agricultural farming with target cultivation forest and fruit trees.
At the same time, we will complete, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Finance, a reduction in the taxation of the „other areas“ related to agricultural activity. That is: they are other areas where there are so-called hedgerows – when I say it simply – trees, so that there is no need to pay seven times higher tax than on agricultural land, and thus allowing farmers and everyone to establish these hedgerows and not have to pay for it . “
We need to clarify the Minister’s words a little bit that not only the Czech University of Life Sciences is involved in the preparation of the aforementioned grant title, but also (and to a significant degree) experts from other institutes: the Silva Tarouca Research Institute for Landscape and Ornamental Gardening, v.v.i. and also Mendel University.
